Eamon Trebilcock is a Managing Director at Altuva Group, where he leads the firm’s U.S. Activism and Control Equity strategies. He focuses on acquiring influential or control positions in public companies and driving value creation through disciplined capital allocation, operational improvement, and engaged ownership.
Eamon brings experience across hedge funds, private equity, and capital solutions, including six years in the hedge fund industry at Marathon Asset Management and Ellington Management, where he focused on credit, stressed and distressed situations, and bespoke capital solutions. He later joined H.I.G. Capital’s Special Situations Private Equity Group, executing control investments and operational turnarounds across multiple industries. He subsequently served as a Director at Monroe Capital within the firm’s Capital Solutions business, managing digital infrastructure investments and contributing to underwriting and portfolio management for Monroe Capital Corporation (MRCC), the firm’s $5 billion publicly traded BDC.
He has served on the boards of iQor, David’s Bridal, Town Sports, and NSO Group, providing governance leadership through restructurings, operational transformations, and strategic repositioning.
